Call Forwarding - Voice Commands
Call forwarding settings are used by the Virtual Assistant to determine how to route your incoming calls based on your status, who is calling, and the date and time of the call.
If you cannot be reached at your specified phone numbers, the Virtual Assistant will offer the caller the option to leave you a voice mail. Once recorded, the voice message is made available to you on your Web Portal and Mobile App, by phone using speech commands. A copy of the voice message is sent to you by email as an attached audio file (with a text transcription if included in your subscription plan).
Call forwarding functions can be accessed on your Web Portal, your Mobile App and by phone using voice commands. The more complex settings such as call filtering preferences and call forwarding schedules can only be accessed on the Web Portal. See Call Forwarding on Web Portal for details.
The following voice commands are available at the main menu level immediately after login:
- Forward calls to voice mail
- Forward calls to main line associated with your account
- Forward calls to your office phone
- Forward calls to your home phone
- Forward calls to to your mobile phone
- Forward calls to a specific number
- Forward calls as per my automatic forwarding rules
Forward calls
You can ask the Virtual Assistant to forward your calls to the phone number of your choice directly from the main menu. If you are not already at the main menu level, say MAIN MENU or press *.
