Message Alerts Settings

Use the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) of my office extension

If you check this box, you will have the option to select which office extension (deskphone connected to your phone system) will be used to display the MWI. The office extensions available for selection include only those defined under Settings > Phone Numbers that use a phone that supports the MWI feature. This is a phone property that depends on the phone type and model.

The Virtual Assistant will notify you of new voice messages by activating the MWI on the selected office extension. At anytime, you can come back to the Message Alerts Settings page to select a different office extension or disable this type of notification.

Send me a text message (SMS) on my mobile phone

If you check this box, the Virtual Assistant will notify you of new voice messages by sending you a text message on your mobile phone defined under Settings > Phone Numbers.

IMPORTANT: To avoid unexpected fees, contact your mobile service provider to check if you are charged for receiving SMS messages or not.

Don't notify me

If you select this option, the Virtual Assistant will not notify you when you receive a new voice message. You will still be receiving your voice messages by email, on your Web Portal and mobile app. You can also access them by phone using the touchtone and speech commands of your Virtual Assistant.
