Emails - Voice Commands

The Virtual Assistant enables you to access and manage your emails by phone using speech commands. It accesses your email account (Inbox) and reads your emails to you over the phone using Text-to-Speech (TTS). While listening to your messages, you can use voice commands to reply, archive, delete or forward them to your contacts or colleagues.

The following options are available at the main menu level immediately after login:

See Commands while listening to emails for the commands available once you access an email.

Send an email

You can record a voice message and email it to one or several contacts directly from the main menu. If you are not already at the main menu level, say MAIN MENU or press *.

When you compose or reply to an email, the Virtual Assistant records the message as WAV audio file and emails it as an attachment to the selected recipient (contact). If you have the voice-to-text option, the Virtual Assistant will offer to send a text transcription of your recorded message as the email body in addition to attaching its WAV audio file.

The following commands are based on how you configured your phone sessions. See Voice Interface for details.
